Family Healthcare of Hagerstown is seeking a Family Medicine Physician that would like to make a difference in their community. Under the direction of the Medical Director, the candidate will provide comprehensive diagnosis and treatment. This includes but is not limited to evaluations, examinations, and counseling patients and families medically as well as order tests, referrals, prescriptions, and provide indicated procedures. Additional responsibilities include the completion of appropriate charting and coding of services in the electronic medical record; appropriate response to emergencies; and participation in Quality Improvement measures such as monthly peer audits. He/She will support patient satisfaction efforts and exercise confidentiality. Courteous communication skills with patients, visitors, and staff must be demonstrated. The position supports and follows through with the vision, mission, goals, and objectives of the Family Healthcare of Hagerstown.
Qualifications include completion of an accredited medical school, current Maryland licensure, DEA and Maryland State Dispensing License, and current BLS and/or PALS. Two years of experience in is preferred but not mandatory.
